01What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage work similarly. Together we call them "storage technologies." We disclose every storage key we set below.
02California vs. EU rules — why there is no banner
The European Union requires opt-in consent before any non-essential cookie fires. California's CCPA/CPRA requires only disclosure and an opt-out if a site sells or shares personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do neither, no banner is required.
If we ever add an advertising or cross-site analytics tracker, we will (a) update this page, (b) add a "Your Privacy Choices" link to the footer, and (c) publish a CPRA opt-out page within 30 days, before the tracker goes live.

If a third-party we embed (e.g., the intake portal at a different domain) sets cookies on its own page, those cookies are governed by that third party's policy, not ours.

05Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — even though we do not sell or share. You can enable GPC via browsers and extensions listed at globalprivacycontrol.org.
